My role involved creating an educational asset highlighting why reliable anti-AAV pre-testing is fundamental to gene therapy success. Addressing the major research barrier posed by pre-existing immunity, I focused on communicating how robust pre-testing prevents delays and wasted resources by improving model validity, ensuring reproducibility, and guiding vector design. This work aimed to educate the target audience that proactively testing for AAV immunity is key to accelerating therapeutic progress.
